The kit includes a long practice chanter with a plastic reed, both made in Scotland, ''The Great Highland Bagpipe Tutor'' book and CD_ROM which has a 30 min video covering all the exercises and tunes included in the book. The long length chanter plays approximately a semi tone lower than the standard chanter. The long chanter is exactly the same as the chanter used for practice pipes, meaning that it can be used to upgrade to practice pipes at a later stage.
